Jennifer Hess – Director of Nursing
Jennifer Hess is a licensed nurse and brings with her over 22 years experience. She began her nursing career working in primary care for 10 years, she briefly worked in the home health industry before shifting to assisted living, which is by far her favorite. She has worked in assisted living for over 11 years, and her close relationship with her own grandparents is what drew Jennifer to this field.
Originally from Clintwood, Virginia, she attended Wise County Tech. School and Mountain Empire Community College before settling down in Bristol, Tennessee.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family, traveling, gardening, shopping, and listening to live music. She also likes to keep up with the Cincinnati Reds baseball games and the University of Virginia’s boys basketball team.
At Preston Place Community, Jennifer can always be found with a smile on her face and a positive approach to team-based care. She works closely with our Administrators, Alison Colobro (Preston Place Suites) and Sharon Durnin (Preston Place II) to ensure our residents consistently receive the loving care they deserve each day. We are so blessed to have such dedicated staff provide care for our residents, and we look forward to working with your families!
